A massive $5 million of funding has been announced for the Morwell Recreation Reserve, home of Morwell Tigers Football Netball Club and Gippsland Power.
A brand new multi purpose synthetic grass playing surface will be built at the site of the old caravan park, west of the football oval.
The upgrades will also include new netball courts and changeroom facilites which are limited at the moment. It will also include Keegan Street Reserve upgrades and a shared pavilion for cricketers and netballers.
The works will commence later this year.
