A man was robbed after he was assaulted in Morwell yesterday morning.

The victim was reportedly locking his car at about 8am just west of the Morwell Library near Coles, when he was struck over the back of his head, causing him to lose consciousness.

When the victim became conscious he realised his wallet was stolen.

The victim didn’t see the offender(s) but can recall hearing two young male voices.
