A proposal will be presented to the state government next week to build an international airport in West Gippsland.
The $7 billion dollar project proposes the airport to be built between Lang Lang and Koo Wee Rup, just west of Warragul.
The airport would participate in overseas flights, and flights within Australia.
Paragon Premier Investment Fund said it could be operating cargo flights by 2020, followed by domestic and international flights.
