There has been a large number of power outages across the Latrobe Valley due to the severe weather this evening.
A number of towns including Morwell, Churchill, Hazelwood, Jeeralang Junction, Trafalgar and Yarragon are among those affected.
Some estimations are that power won’t be restored until early tomorrow morning.
